Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Sylvie’s passion for the performing arts began with a deep immersion in classical ballet. She trained at a professional level with the prestigious Royal Winnipeg Ballet and Winnipeg Contemporary Dance. Though her dance career was unexpectedly cut short, her love of movement and storytelling never left.

Choosing to pivot, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition before boldly relocating to Toronto at age 20 — sight unseen — drawn back to the world of performance. Over the years, Sylvie has continued to pursue acting for film and television with the same dedication she once gave to dance.

Her life journey includes becoming a mother, overcoming breast cancer, and living in both Costa Rica and Mexico — always guided by a spirit of adventure and resilience. Recently, she returned to ballet, reconnecting with her first love.

Today, Sylvie continues to find joy and purpose in her creative pursuits, with film and television remaining at the heart of her artistic expression. She looks forward to telling stories on screen for many years to come.
